I love writing recipes. I love teaching people how to make the things that I genuinely love to eat. That’s why the recipes I share aren’t often new ideas I’ve “developed” from my imagination, they are treasured dishes I’ve learnt through a life and career in food.

A consequence of this is that my recipes aren’t often the headline act. Normally they’re an integral part of a story I’m trying to tell, like this one on Finnish buns which ends up being about my experience as an immigrant in Finland.

That’s why I’ve created this index to keep track of the Nordic-inspired recipes I’ve shared here.
