The cinnamon buns are legitimately excellent and for about a week basically became my personality.

Ha! Can I use this in the marketing??

Absolutely.

You might also like to point out that they’re a good way of using leftover porridge from those mornings when your toddlers tell you they’d love a bowl, but who 10 mins later decide they on no account want any porridge at all. And certainly not in THAT colour bowl.

This is 100% where the first batch of porridge for this technique came from you know!! Hated the idea of binning it.

Christmas just arrived early at my house!

Ah! Thank you. Hope you like the look of it. Hopefully it's worth the effort. I am not a graphic designer by trade you know...

So far have read three of the recipes - will return when I have time to consider... I am appreciating the nuanced observations - and ingredient details such as what weight protein for the flour, the addition of shaved lemon rind to a sugar syrup coat, observations that really make the finished product - like hand kneading instead of using the mixer with attachment for a lighter finish. Thank you. It's also quite evocative of where you are living which is nice for me.

Goodness, Shauna. You're so kind, it means a great deal to me. I hope the book helps bring a bit of Nordic sweetness to your home this Christmas, that would make my day. God Jul and Hyvää Joulua!
